Bereavement of pets
This is one of the most beautiful books I have ever experienced. It deals with the bereavement of pets, but it would be beneficial for the loss of any loved one, whether four footed or two footed. Moreover, it is as touching with adults as it is with children. I am a professor of children's literature and the author of two literature textbooks. I watched as my two beloved dogs died in my arms six months apart, and this is the only book that has helped ease the pain, although there are others on the subject.
