Makes night time strolls more visible5
I got both a red and orange version size large. They work very well. The adjustments were easy and the instructions clear. Once set up were a snap to use. I use these as a secondary collar at night. They come packaged with tight bends in them that prevent the light from traveling the length of the collar. This is easily fixed when the adjustments are being made by warming the plastic light bar with a hair dryer until straight. The light bar is easier to remove from the collar if you (1)Slip the battery cover out as instructed until you can get your fingers on the plastic light bar. (2) Hold the light bar and pull the nylon collar by its far end sliding it off the bar. It sticks if you try to push it off. Pulling the battery pack could damage the unit. When you reinsert the light bar it is easier to thread it through the sliding adjustment clasp by pulling about 4 inches or more up through the clasp and then bending it back through the other side. Then proceed with adjusting the size to the length you needed. I adjusted the first collar the hard way. The second one went much easier. Have I mentioned how visible these things are? My dogs glow in the dark woods at night. They can be spotted a long way off. A wonderful accessory for night time walks.

Expensive and not well made2
I purchased this product locally at an REI and the two collars worked for approximately 1 week. One died entirely and they wouldn't replace it and one works but not illumination enough to see at a distance. Both my dogs are solid black and i let them run on an athltetic field near here. No brush or trees, just big open fields. No one can spot the dogs wearing these collars, which contain a tube of Xmas like lights to illuminate. I have the largest size and had to snip off the excess ends, the press button for on or off is difficult to use if you have arthiritis. also it doesn't function on one collar at all, they're not water proof either. I do not recommend this product.

Great Nite Lite!5
This is the second one of these that I have bought. The first one is in use by my female Cairn Terrier, this one is for my new, bigger male Cairn. They are a great item for these little doggies who are hunters of the night that don't like to come in when they are busy exploring! I can see them from my house at the end of my 200' deep yard! I highly recommend this product to anyone considering it! We do go through lots of batteries, but that is a small price to pay for the security of knowing where my babies are at night!

Metal BrakeFast Dog Bowl2
I was delighted to see a metal BrakeFast bowl was offered. The concept is good and works to slow down eating; however, the plastic ones don't hold up to an aggressive eater/chewer. Metal is much better, but this metal bowl has its problems, too. Don't know what the base metal is, but there seems to be a slick outer coating that, when chewed on the inside while the dog is eating, quickly develops deep scratches from the tooth action. This makes the bowl difficult to clean and bacteria can develop inside the scratches, plus I am worried that my dog may be ingesting metal scrapings. Why, oh why, isn't the bowl made out of good old straightforward stainless steel? Stainless steel doesn't scratch as easily (or as deeply), and certain would hold up better. These bowls are expensive, and the purchaser should not need to have to keep replacing them. Unless BrakeFast comes up with a stainless steel bowl, this will be the last time they see my money.

Great buy! Works great!4
I bought this bowl for our 8 month old Toy Poodle. He inhales his food at each feeding, digests too quickly AND has developed a sensitive tummy. I was spreading his dry food onto a large tray to slow down his eating when I stumbled upon this bowl. It does slow him down a bit but don't expect miracles either. I put half his meal into the bowl, wait 10 minutes, then feed him the other half. So far so good.

The only downfall I see with the bowl is that it slides all over the floor. I hold it in place with my hands or my shoes when feeding until I can by a non-slip mat.

I plan to buy a few more in the metal soon.

Coating chips & flakes off2
It does slow the eating process.
But that's not enough to continue to use this awful bowl.
It would better serve the animals if the coasting didn't chip off and contaminate their food.
Please consider a remake of this product in stainless steel.

Chewy Louie
By Howie Schneider

A family may have to get rid of their new pet, a cute puppy that eats everything in sight, including toys, bowls, and porches.

From School Library Journal
PreSchool-Grade 3-Puppies will be puppies and patience will be a necessity now that Chewy Louie has joined the household. He eats everything in sight: his bowl, toy trains, the dining-room table, the fence, and the back porch. His owners, a vet, and two dog trainers are all incapable of stopping the pup's destructive behavior. Just when it looks as though the family will have to find a new home for their pet, he suddenly outgrows his nasty need to nibble. "He's not a puppy anymore," father proudly explains, while a 13-man construction crew works to repair the damaged house. Humorous colored-pencil cartoons reveal the devastation caused by the wee pooch and the family's reactions to the chaos left in his wake. Chewy Louie's exuberance is almost palpable and his teeth marks are everywhere. He's depicted as a small black dog with a pink tongue hanging out one end while his other end wags so vigorously that he appears to have multiple tails. Readers are left with the tiniest doubt about Louie's newfound maturity upon discovering that a corner of the last page has been chewed off. An entertaining tale about an all-too-common situation.

From Booklist
"Chewy" Louie spreads destruction in the wake of his chomping teeth. At first he is content to chew on his bowl and toys, but as he grows, he begins to take bites out of everything, including the family car and the house. The efforts of two trainers fail to change his ways; peace doesn't come to the family until Louie grows up. Schneider's bright, cartoonlike colored-pencil illustrations perfectly capture Louie's manic energy and the text's exaggerated humor, especially the bafflement of the book's narrator, the little boy in Louie's beleaguered family. A goofy tale with a lot of kid appeal. Todd Morning

If you every owned a puppy than you "know" Chewy Louie!5
A rib-tickling story of a new puppy who eats everything in sight. Louie is an adorable little pup who keeps his tail wagging and his teeth munching on everything in the house...as well as parts of the house. Children and adults will delight in this story of Chewy Louie and how the problem of his "chewing" is eventually resolved.

Chewy Louie5
"Chewy Louie" is one of the best children's stories I've ever read. Not only did it keep my attention, I found myself laughing as I read the book. When the young boy gets a puppy, he soon finds out what puppies can do-chew. And chew, chew, chew, Louie does. He chews everything in sight, including furniture, cars, and visitors. You and your child will laugh out loud at the hilarious pictures! This book is just the thing when you're looking for a good laugh.

Laugh Out Loud!5
Fun, fun, fun! I have read this book about 1,000 times - to my 18-month old son. He loves it, I love it, his dad loves it! The illustrations are bright, colorful and engaging. The story is intriguing - you just can't wait to see what Louie is going to chew next. And the ending is a kick. I'm here buying another copy to give as a gift (my 3rd!!).
